Welcome to Filthy Kitties 2.0, Mobile Edition

Now that I am finally figuring out the full capabilities of my phone, nearly 2 years after getting it, I've discovered that I can post directly to here. You'd think after a year of posting pictures to facebook, using google text to find restaurant addresses, and sending tweets via my mobile device, I'd have stumbled upon this by now. I guess I didn't think about the possibility that blogger offers a text/email posting function. My phone is a rather shitty (comparatively speaking, with iPhones, Droids, and the like), out-of-manufacture LG Dare and has terrible internet browsing thus leading me away from what I'd initially bought the phone to do - torture the internet with my inane blog posts. With all that behind me, I'm ready to embark on a new adventure, or rather get back to the roots of this blog. There won't be many kitties photos, as they reside about 40 miles apart now, but there will be ridonkulous photo posts instead. I'm guessing there will be a photo flood of old pictures now that I've got the hang of this. Enjoy!

obligatory welcome message

First! Oh wait, this is my blog. I've set this up as the non-paid for version of the website I was going to make myself. But I got lazy, didn't want to pay for the domain, and generally lost interest in the project. Don't worry though, I feel at least slightly motivated to get this thing up an running again. So, here's the point of this endeavor. This is going to be a photo/random thoughts blog. I plan posting goofy pictures of my two cats (the filthy kitties, if you will) and thoughts I have throughout the day. I mean seriously, who doesn't love stupid cat pictures? It's what's made stuff on my cat and I can has cheezburger? overnight phenomena. No dumb ass LolCat phrases will be photoshopped on the pictures though, too much thought involved. I may or may not caption these things; we'll just see how it goes. I may also expand to general camera phone pictures of any variety once I get my hands on an iPhone.

As far as the random thought portion of this blog goes, it's pretty much just that. I'm bored as crap living at home with my parents in the suburban Midwest and I don't get to talk to many people besides them on a weekday basis. Lame, I know. In an effort not to go crazy, I'll post those dumb thoughts I have here. Some about me or politics, stupid shit people do, state of the world affairs, my cats, whatever comes to mind. Pretty much Twitter style. But hopefully more frequent than my use of that medium.

Lastly, I don't promise epic glory in this blog or to update regularly. I'm definitely going to try to, but I also have sort of a life too. Sort of being the operative words in that sentance. If you want to know more about me, check out my journal. I think it's fairly entertaining. I enjoy writing, so even if that or this blog sucks, I'm still gonna keep on truckin'. Also, please don't be offended if I say anything completely off color or ridiculous. I'm very much a sarcastic person and tend to mix metaphors as well. I try my hand at being funny, most of the time getting more laughed at than laughed with.
